Burne-Jones, Edward /ˌbɜːn ˈdʒəʊnz $ ˌbɜːrn-/
(1833–98) a British painter who was one of the
Pre-Raphaelites. He often painted women with pale skin and long red hair. He also worked in
tapestry (=heavy cloth with pictures woven into them) and
stained glass.
