Duke, Dor‧is /ˈdɒrəs, ˈdɒrɪs $ ˈdɔː-/
(1912–1993) a rich American woman who travelled a lot and collected Islamic and Southeast Asian art. When she died, she left most of her money and her art to the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
