Gold‧wyn, Sam‧u‧el /ˈɡəʊldwɪn, ˈsæmjuəl/
(1882–1974) a US film producer who started the company that became MGM and had an important part in the development of the Hollywood film industry. He is thought of as the most typical example of a powerful film producer. He is also famous for saying funny things such as ‘Include me out!’ (=‘Don’t include me!’).
