I. Hancock, Herbie /ˈhænkɒk $ -kɑːk, ˈhɜːbiǁˈhɜːr-/
(1940–) an American jazz pianist and composer. He has played with many other musicians and was a member of the Miles Davis Quintet in the 1960s. He is well known for mixing elements of jazz, funk, rock, soul and HIPHOP. His most well-known record is Head Hunters (1973) and his songs include Watermelon Man and Rockit.
