Lit‧tle‧wood, Joan /ˈlɪtlwʊd, dʒəʊn/
(1914–2002) a British theatre director who developed new and original ways of expressing her
left-wing political ideas in the theatre. She is known especially for her stage production of
Oh, What a Lovely War! in 1963.
