Ma‧ri‧no, Dan /məˈriːnəʊ, dæn/
(1961–) a US football player who was a quarterback for the Miami Dolphins team (1983–2000). He was known especially for his skill at throwing passes, and was considered to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
