So‧yin‧ka, Wo‧le /sɔɪˈjɪŋkə, ˈwəʊleɪ/
(1934–) a Nigerian writer of plays, poems, and
novels. His plays include
Kongi's Harvest,
Death and the King's Horseman, and
A Play of Giants. He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1986.
