War‧ner, Pop /ˈwɔːnəʳ $ ˈwɔːr-/
(1871–1954) a US coach (=someone who trains a person or team) in American football who developed a new and successful method of playing the game. His real name was Glenn S. Warner. Football leagues for children are often called Pop Warner leagues.
