Washington, Den‧zel /ˈdenzəl/
(1954–) a US film actor whose films include Cry Freedom (1987) and Malcolm X (1992). In 2001 he became the first African American since Sidney Poitier in 1963 to win an Oscar for best actor, which he won for Training Day.
