Cou‧per, Heather /ˈkuːpəʳ/
(1944–) a British astronomer (=a scientist who studies the stars) who has appeared on many television and radio programmes about space and the stars. She has also written many books including The Space Atlas and Mars: The Inside Story of the Red Planet.
