Fonz /fɒnz $ fɑːnz/ (also the Fonz)
the main character in the US television programme Happy Days. He is a teenager in the 1950s who is known for always being cool, because he behaves in a calm confident way that is admired by other teenagers. He also wears a fashionable leather jacket.
