Glas‧ton‧bur‧y /ˈɡlæst
ənb
əri $ -beri/
a town in southwest England with one of the oldest
abbeys (=type of religious building) in England. According to some old stories, it is the place where King Arthur is buried. A festival of modern music is held at Glastonbury every summer. When it rains, conditions can become very muddy at the festival, especially for people staying in tents.
