Glen‧coe ,
Glen Coe /ˌɡlen ˈkəʊ/
a valley in the western Highlands of Scotland, where, in 1692, members of one
clan (=a large group of families), the Campbells, killed members of another clan, the MacDonalds, in the Massacre of Glencoe. It is now a popular place for people to go to
ski or climb.
