Hay‧ek, Sal‧ma /ˈhaɪek, ˈsælmə/
(1966–) a Mexican actress who first became famous after appearing in television soap operas in Mexico. She later came to Hollywood and her films include Desperado, Traffic, and Frida, a film about the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo.
