Hell‧man, Lil‧li‧an /ˈhelmən, ˈlɪliən/
(1905–84) a US writer of plays, known especially for The Children's Hour and The Little Foxes, both of which have been made into films. She is also remembered for refusing to name anyone as a Communist in front of the HUAC.
