Hind‧ley, My‧ra /ˈhɪndli, ˈmaɪrə/
(1942–2002) a British woman who murdered several children in the 1960s and was known as one of the
Moors Murderers. She was in prison for more than 30 years, and politicians and newspapers often argued about whether she should ever be let out.
