I. Hoff‧man, A‧bbie /ˈhɒfmən $ ˈhɑːf-, ˈeɪbi/
(1936–89) a US political activist (=someone who works to achieve social or political change). In the 1960s, he was the leader of the Youth International Party in the US, an organization that was also referred to as the Yippie movement.

II. Hoffman, Dus‧tin /ˈdʌstən, ˈdʌstɪn/
(1937–) a US film and theatre actor. He won two Oscars, for Kramer Vs Kramer (1979) and Rain Man (1988). His other films include The Graduate (1967), and Tootsie (1982).
