In‧ka‧tha /ɪnˈkɑːtə/
a political party in South Africa which represents the Zulu people and is led by Chief Buthelezi. Its full name is the Inkatha Freedom Party. In the 1980s and 1990s many people were killed in fights between supporters of Inkatha and supporters of the ANC.
