Kel‧logg Pact, the /ˈkelɒɡ pækt $ -lɔːɡ-/ (
also the Kellogg-Bri‧and Pact /ˌkelɒɡ ˈbriːɑːŋ pækt $ -lɔːɡ-/)
an agreement, signed by 15 nations in 1928, to deal with arguments between countries peacefully, without war or weapons. It was suggested by Aristide Briand, the French Foreign Minister, to Frank B. Kellogg, the US Secretary of State.
