Kin‧sey, Al‧fred Charles /ˈkɪnzi, ˈælfrəd tʃɑːlz $ -tʃɑːrlz/
(1894–1956) a US scientist who studied human sexual behaviour. His two books,
Sexual Behavior in the Human Male (1948) and
Sexual Behavior in the Human Female (1953), usually called the Kinsey Reports, showed that people's sexual practices were very different from what most people had thought.
