1. Anatomy. A liplike structure; spec. (chiefly in pl.) the two pairs of folds of skin on either side of the vulva. L16.
labia majora [mǝ'dʒɔ:rǝ] the larger, outer pair of labia of the vulva. labia minora [mɪ'nɔ:rǝ] the smaller, inner pair of labia of the vulva.

2. Entomology. The fused mouthpart which forms the floor of the mouth or underlip. E19.
