Mag‧nus‧son, Mag‧nus /ˈmæɡnəsən, ˈmæɡnəs/
(1929–2007) an Icelandic television presenter living and working in Britain, who asked the questions on the popular television quiz programme Mastermind from 1972 to 1997. If he was in the middle of asking a question when the time allowed for questions had finished, he would say ‘I’ve started, so I’ll finish’.
