Mc‧Kel‧len, Sir Ian /məˈkelən ˈiːən/
(1939–) a British actor, famous especially for acting in Shakespeare's plays and for appearing as Gandalf in three Lord of the Rings films. He is also known for working to help people with AIDS, and to help homosexuals gain equal rights.
