Min‧ne‧ap‧o‧lis /ˌmɪniˈæpəlɪs/
a city in east Minnesota, US, and an important industrial centre. It is a port on one side of the Mississippi River, with Saint Paul on the other side. Together, they are known as the Twin Cities.
