Min‧ton /ˈmɪntən/ noun [uncountable]
a fine bone china made in Stoke-on-Trent in England (from Thomas Minton (1765–1836) who started the factory). The famous WILLOW PATTERN plates etc are said to have been made first by the Minton company.
