ˌMoral Re-Armament (
abbreviation MRA)
the former name of an international movement started in 1938 by the US
evangelist Frank Buchman (1878–1961), who wanted to make people behave in a more moral and
spiritual way, especially in international relations. In 2001 it changed its name to Initiatives of Change (IofC).
