Mow‧lam, Mo /ˈməʊləm/
(1949–2005) a British politician in the Labour Party, who was the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland during the peace talks which ended in 1998. Many people admired her for the work she did then, and she was a popular politician. She left the government in 2002.
