N‧kru‧mah, Kwa‧me /əŋˈkruːmə, ˈkwɑːmi/
(1909–72) a Ghanaian politician who led his country's fight for independence from the UK. He was Prime Minister (1952–60) and President (1960–66), but he was eventually removed from power by the army.
