Pink Floyd /ˌpɪŋk ˈflɔɪd/
a British group who started playing in the mid-1960s, and often thought of as a psychedelic band. Their performances involved loud electronic music and strange lighting, and they are thought of as a very typical part of the hippie period. Their albums include The Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall.
