Plow‧right, Joan /ˈplaʊraɪt, dʒəʊn/
(1929–) a British actress who began in theatre and moved into films. She acted in The Entertainer, Equus, and Drowning by Numbers. She is the widow of the actor Laurence Olivier. Her official title is Dame Joan Plowright.
