Potter, Harry
the main character in British writer J.K. Rowling's very popular books. Harry Potter is a young boy who discovers that he is a wizard (=a man who has magical powers). He is known for wearing round glasses. In the books, such as Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, he learns about magic and fights against evil wizards. Six out of the seven books have been made into successful films.
