QE2, the /ˌkjuː iː ˈtuː/
a large passenger ship which was owned by the Cunard company and which sailed between Southampton in southern England and New York, and also took passengers on
cruises (=sea journeys for pleasure) all over the world. It was considered to be a very comfortable and expensive way to travel. In 2008 it stopped sailing and became a floating hotel in Dubai.
