Queens‧land /ˈkwiːnzlənd/
a state in northeast Australia, whose capital and largest city is Brisbane. Its products include sugar, wool, and many types of mineral, including coal. Queensland is a popular place for tourists because of its warm weather, its beaches on the Gold Coast, and the Great Barrier Reef.
