I. Sen‧e‧ca¹ /ˈsenəkə, ˈsenɪkə/
(about 4 BC-65 AD) a Roman philosopher, politician, and writer of plays. He was the teacher of Nero, the EMPEROR, and had a lot of influence over him. But later, Nero believed Seneca was involved in a plan to kill him, and ordered him to kill himself.
