Shet·ty, Shil·pa /ˈʃeti, ˈʃɪlpə/
(1975-) an Indian model and Bollywood actress whose films include Baazigar (1993), Rishtey (2002), and Phir Milenge (2004). She became famous in the UK after winning the reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother in 2007. The show received a lot of attention in the media and was even discussed in the UK Parliament because some viewers complained that Shetty was being bullied (bully) and treated in a racist way by three of the other contestants.
