Stead‧man, Al‧i‧son /ˈstedmən, ˈæləsən/
(1946–) a British film and television actress who is known especially for playing Beverly in Abigail's Party (1977) and for acting in other plays and films by Mike Leigh. Her films include Shirley Valentine and Life is Sweet.
