Streep, Mer‧yl /striːp, ˈmerəl/
(1949–) a US film actress, known for her ability to play many different types of character. Her films include Out of Africa (1985), and The Hours (2002). She won two Oscars, for Kramer vs Kramer (1979) and Sophie's Choice (1982).
