Tate Modern, the
Britain's national museum of modern art in London, which was first opened to the public in May 2000. The building was formerly a power station, and it was changed into an art gallery by two Swiss architects. The museum contains works by famous artists such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, and Francis Bacon.
