Woll‧stone‧craft, Mary /ˈwʊlstənkrɑːft $ -kræft/
(1759–97) a British writer who is regarded as one of the first feminists. In her book A Vindication of the Rights of Women, she wrote that women should have the same education and opportunities as men. She was the mother of Mary Shelley.
