Fu‧ji, Mount /ˈfuːdʒi/ (
also Fu‧ji‧ya‧ma /ˌfuːdʒiˈjɑːmə/)
a
volcano, about 100 km southwest of Tokyo, which is the highest mountain in Japan. Its top has the shape of a perfect
cone and it has been the subject of many paintings and poems for centuries.
